Radnici Dačije stupili u štrajk

Proizvodnja Renoovog sub-brenda Dačije je u sredu prekinuta u rumunskoj fabrici Mioveni kada su radnici stupili u štrajk zbog povećanja plata, prenela je kompanija.
"Trenutno pregovaramo o uslovima rada", rekla je predstavnica Dačije, Anka Oreviceanu. " I dalje ne znamo koliko će štrajk uticati na proizvodnju", dodala je ona.
Radnici koji su stupili u štrajk zahtevaju povećanje plate od 25 posto. Prosečna mesečna plata je prošle godine u Dačiji iznosila 3.700 leja (836 evra), dok nacionalni prosek iznosi oko 2.100 leja (474 evra).
Dačija je najveći izvoznik u Rumuniji sa više od 90 posto proizvodnje namenjene stranom tržištu.
Renoov brend pristupačnijih automobila Dačija se pokazao kao veoma uspešan tokom ekonomske krize širom Evrope sa 360.000 prodatih automobila prošle godine.
Dobra prodaja Dačije se nastavlja i ove godine, a prošlog meseca je prodaja u EU porasla za 15.4 odsto, dok je prodaja Renoovih automobila u istom periodu opala za 14.8 procenata.

Ex-Porsche designer aims to give Chery a styling boost
SHANGHAI (Bloomberg) -- Chery Automobile is counting on ex-Porsche designer Hakan Saracoglu to improve the Chinese carmaker's styling.
Saracoglu, 47, who has also worked at Ford of Europe, is leading a team of 30 at Chery's Shanghai-based design center to come up with new concepts for models from sedans to SUVs.
Chery is best know for building the low-cost QQ minicar, but Saracoglu said: "Chery is not just QQ, we're going to change that. The company is redefining itself. Chery is standing for value, for design and gaining customer confidence. That's where we want to go."
Chery has a 50-50 joint venture to produce models for Tata Motors' Jaguar Land Rover in China. It also co-owns startup carmaker Qoros Auto Co. with Israel Corp.
Saracoglu started his career at Ford Motor Co.'s Cologne offices as part of the team that worked on models such as the Focus and Mondeo. The Turkish-born German national worked for 15 years at Porsche, where he helped design the exteriors for models including the 918 Spyder, Boxster and Cayman. He joined Chery as design director in October.
Chery is the latest among Chinese automakers hiring foreign designers to help boost their brand image and reverse a loss in market share to overseas automakers such as General Motors and Volkswagen.
Beijing Automotive Group hired Ferrari Daytona designer Leonardo Fioravanti as chief design officer last year. Former Volvo Car chief designer Peter Horbury joined Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co. in 2011 as senior vice president in charge of design. Great Wall Motor Co., China's biggest maker of SUVs, appointed former Mercedes-Benz designer Andreas Deufel as design director in 2011.
Bill Russo, Beijing-based president of auto consultancy Synergistic, said: "Having somebody with a known profile gives you more credibility. But it's going to take a long time to really embed those capabilities."
Salaries for foreign auto engineers in China reach three times that in the United States and Europe, according to Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Asked how much of a salary increase he was offered to leave Porsche, Saracoglu said, "I cannot comment on that. Let's say I'm not unhappy."
Saracoglu, who has a degree in transportation design from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, said he had never visited China before being approached by Chery.

Bentley has Received Over 2,000 Advance Orders for Upcoming SUV
Bentley has yet to approve the 2012 Bentley EXP 9F Concept for production and yet Bentley’s CEO Wolfgang Schreiber is already claiming that Bentley has received over 2,000 advance orders for the new luxury SUV.
That news comes despite pricing details or final design details being released, indicating that wealthy men and women simply cannot get enough from the British manufacturer.
Since the Bentley EXP 9F Concept was originally revealed, Bentley went straight back to the drawing board and has yet to reveal the updated design of the SUV, but Schreiber did confirm that the car has already passed numerous hurdles, but before Bentley can put it into production, it needs to work out where it can be built.
At the moment, Bentley has two choices. It can either produce it at the company’s UK Crewe production facility or VW’s Bratislava in Slovakia.
When discussing these two options, Schreiber stated “The Volkswagen Group SUVs are built in Bratislava and that is one good option, but Crewe has the skills and craftsmanship with the things you see and smell and the group knows that.”

Ajde da su oba istog cenovnog ranga i klase, pa da ih poredimo (npr. da poredimo X-drive BMW-a i Quattro Audija) ali ovo ... nema nikakve logike

Šta je tu baba a šta žaba? Koliko vidim Quattro broj 5.000.000 od početka Quattro modela.
Inače voli Audi da sebi pripisuje neke stvari, pa kod nas ljudi misle da je Audi izmislio 4x4 pogon, prvi put ga primenio na putničko vozilo, kao i alu šasiju...
