U Poljskoj proizveden milioniti Fiat 500



Fiat je danas u svojoj Tychy fabrici u Poljskoj proslavio proizvodnju jubilarnog, i to milionitog Fiata 500.

Za ovaj rezultat je Fiatu bilo potrebno 5 godina i devet meseci, budući da je moderni Fiat 500 predstavljen 2007. godine.

Čast da ponese broj 1.000.000 je pripala Abarth verziji sa 1,4 litarskim turbo motorom sa 135KS, a ovaj automobil će završiti u vlasništvu kupca iz Italije.

Treba reći da se broj 999.999 našao na crvenom Fiatu 500 1.3 Multijet, a broj 1.000.001 na plavom Fiatu 500C 1.2 Lounge.

Moderni Fiat 500 je od 2007. godine do danas osvojio više od 40 međunarodnih nagrada (uključujući i titulu automobila godine u Evropi za 2008. godinu), a dostupan je u 83 zemlje sveta (uključujući i SAD, Brazil, Južnu Afriku i Japan).

Fiat 500 se od 2011. godine proizvodi i u Toluca fabrici u Meksiku, pa ukupan broj modernih Fiata 500 u stvari iznosi 1,1 milion.

Honda predstavila nove modele za kinesko tržište...


Honda today exhibited the world premiere of the Concept M, a concept model of a mass-production vehicle to go on sale next year in China, at Auto Shanghai 2013.

“Concept M” new-value MPV concept model

The Honda Concept M is a concept vehicle for the MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) segment developed mainly for Chinese market. Currently, commercial vehicles account for the majority of the MPV market in China. Honda will introduce a new-value vehicle to the segment that offers the attributes of a passenger car with a comfortable and spacious cabin that is also fun to drive. The Concept M was designed by the design studio at the Automobile R&D Center of Honda R&D Co., Ltd. in Japan. Honda is making progress in the development of a mass-production vehicle based on this concept model aiming for market introduction next year.




“CRIDER” (Chinese name: 凌派) new model

The Honda CRIDER is a mass-production vehicle based on the Concept C (a concept model for a middle-class sedan developed for the Chinese market), which was introduced at the Beijing Motor Show last year. Developed under a design concept based on an image of a dragon, the CRIDER features top-class vehicle size*, an energetic exterior design and dynamic performance that exceeds other vehicles in its class. The CRIDER is a mid-size sedan developed for Chinese customers mainly by Honda’s Chinese associates.

The CRIDER is scheduled to go on sale from Guangqi Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. in June of this year.

“JADE” (Chinese name: 傑徳) new model

The Honda JADE is a mass-production vehicle based on the Concept S (a global concept model for a new-value passenger mover developed primarily for the Chinese market to go on sale first in China), which was also introduced at the Beijing Motor Show last year. Featuring an innovative design developed based on an image of jade stone with a beautiful exterior look and noble sense of quality within, the JADE will satisfy diverse customer needs from everyday use to holiday driving. The JADE was designed to match the tastes of Chinese customers born in 1980s who are energetic and known for pursuing their dreams.

The JADE is scheduled to go on sale from Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. in September of this year.

A VW Group official has confirmed that an all-new Lamborghini Gallardo could be available by 2014

An all-new replacement for the Lamborghini Gallardo will be launched in a "short time", a senior Volkswagen Group official in China has revealed.

Weiming Soh, Volkswagen Group China's sales and marketing chief, confirmed the launch of a new Gallardo was imminent on the eve of the Shanghai motor show.

"We will come out with a new Gallardo in a short time and be able to further progress with Lamborghini," said Soh.

Audi is known to be lining up a replacement to the Gallardo's sister car, the R8, for launch in 2014, so it's likely a new Gallardo, which has been on sale for almost a decade, could launch next year also.

Fiat Close to Raising Enough Cash to Buy Chrysler

Fiat could raise necessary cash in May that would allow it to buy the 41.5 percent of Chrysler shares it doesn’t own yet. According to two unnamed sources quoted by Reuters, the Italian carmaker is in advanced talks with banks on financing to buy the remaining 41.5 percent of Chrysler. These shares are held by VEBA, the United Auto Workers’ retirees' healthcare trust. Fiat’s talks with banks are expected to end next month.

The Turin-based automaker is looking to raise around €3 billion ($4 billion) in new financing and is hoping to reach an agreement with VEBA by early July. Fiat’s CEO Sergio Marchionne wants to merge the two carmakers in order to create the world’s seventh-largest automobile manufacturer. The deal would also allow Fiat to use Chrysler’s cash flow to offset its losses in Europe.

According to analysts, VEBA’s 41.5 percent stake in Chrysler is worth an estimated $3.5-$4 billion. However, Chrysler’s price tag is the subject of a legal battle between Fiat and VEBA. Earlier this month Marchionne said the carmaker may need to raise €2.5-€3 billion ($3.3-$3.9 billion) in connection with the buyout. He did not get into details though.

Despite the fact that Fiat has cash reserves of about €9 billion ($11.91 billion) as of December 31, it would still need to raise finance to merge with Chrysler to maintain the new group’s credit rating.

Marchionne would like to merge the two automakers and avoid an IPO (Initial Public Offering), but he doesn't rule out a market listing if Fiat and VEBA don’t reach a deal.
