Dobio bi ovo i da nije pobedio. Svaki vozač u Ferrariju ima u ugovoru definisane ovakve stvari pre svega iz promotivnih razloga, što su neki neviđeno zloupotrebljavali. Čini mi se da je Mansell preko reda dobio F40 na koga se čekalo 2 godine i posle mesec dana ga je prodao za 3x veću cifru od cene.

Lotus terminates Group Lotus title sponsorship deal

Genii Capital says it is committed to retaining the Lotus name within F1 despite the end of the deal

Lotus has terminated its title sponsorship deal with Group Lotus but will continue to carry the name, Autosport reports.

The move comes as a result of the difficult financial position that Group Lotus is currently in, with the car manufacturer having recently been sold by Proton to DRB-Hicom. The Lotus team is owned by Genii Capital, and its owner Gerard Lopez said that all agreements with Group Lotus had been terminated.

"The sponsorship agreement and the obligations of Lotus have been terminated," Lopez told Autosport. "There is no option from Group Lotus to buy into F1 now - that option was taken over by us. There was one, but we have taken it over now."

Lopez added that the team was under no financial pressure as a result of the termination as Genii can add investment, but admitted that a new title sponsor to run alongside the Lotus name was a possibility.

"We are happy to carry the Lotus name as we believe it is a good name for F1. We funded the team last year and the year before for whatever delta was missing. We would prefer to have sponsors up to the full amount - but if we have to fund it then we will fund it."

Fantastična trka.
Nažalost, gledao sam pola u direktnom prenosu, a drugu polovinu tek popodne, snimak. U svakom slučaju, vrlo zanimljivo, neizvesno do samog kraja i što je najbitnije, pobednik je "novi" momak, što je jako dobro. Kad se za prvih 10 mesta bori nekoliko bivših šampiona i svi su tu negde, odlučuju detalji, onda trka mora biti dobra.

France and Ecclestone agree F1 race 'price'

Official confirmation of France's return to the formula one calendar is now close, Radio Monte Carlo is reporting.
"The French authorities have finally agreed the price with (Bernie) Ecclestone," the report said.
Earlier, when prime minister Francois Fillon said advanced talks with F1 were taking place, he indicated the gap with Ecclestone's demands was about 2 million euros.
RMC said the deal "should be completed next week".
It is expected that the Ecclestone-owned Paul Ricard will share an annually alternating grand prix date with Belgium's Spa-Francorchamps, beginning in 2013.
